Place it's clean, good service,helpful waitress, just as a Mexican restaurant needs a little improve on the salsas ,little more mexican taste, but good place to eat,
The food is not the best, coincidentally you could be eating Ramen from a plastic container for the 3rd time today. So it would be refreshing to you college students, plus they have super cheap drinks pretty much every night. And it would be a good spot to go meet people since it is typically crowded in the evenings.
I also loved how respecting one of the servers was when she brought us food in the middle of our prayer . She wanted to make sure we knew that she didn’t interrupt . Some servers don’t care ! Lol
This is not a picture from the restaurant . That’s not sour cream it’s a vegan substitute from home and I added some vegan cheese from home . But the burrito is from Tios. The food was good. the waiters were really diligent and on it . Our waitress checked on us a lot of times and it really made a difference because I had a lot of questions ! One was wanting to change one of my sides to CORNBREAD! It was sooo good !! My boyfriend took his cornbread to his house and ate it with milk ?.... he was pleased by it! Lol ! But they said it was vegan and they also have vegan cheese !!! They are one of the only restaurants in Columbia other than the vegan ones and some of the pizza places that accommodate vegans with cheese !! Yay!!! Hopefully they can get a vegan queso! On their door it says vegan friendly . But the food was good . Their salsa was very different it wasn’t nasty just not what your used to... I wish the atmosphere wasn’t so alcohol centered . The restaurants identity has the potential to be more upsacale and they aren’t because it sort of looks like a hole in the wall bar. It could definitely be upgraded . They have a great concept and servers . They are distinct from other Mexican places too .
If you're looking for authentic Mexican food do not come here! The chips tasting store-bought the salsa tasted like it was from on the border. $7.49 for2 small tacos kind of ridiculous no beans or rice included. We are not from around here and we decided to give it a try based off of reviews. But please don't make the same mistake as I did. The only decent thing was a $3 margaritas. Our ticket was almost $60 and everything tasted awful.
If I could rate less than one star, I would. We waited more than an hour for our food with no explanation or apology given by our waitress. The restaurant was not busy at all. We had to finally ask for the orders in to-go boxes. I have no idea about the quality of the food because by the time we ate, the food was soggy and cold.
