I was greeted at the door and requested seating at the bar. My lucky day that Aaron was bartending. Customers around me were enjoying Martini’s so after moving here from Chicago and not being able to find a good

Thank You Aaron.
Thank You for Great
Hostess was grumpy. Was pushing us out the door. Ordered to go. Ordered Pad Thai and green curry. Smallest portioned Thai food (making it very overpriced), egg shells in the Pad Thai, and nothing special. Have never had Pad Thai made with little spaghetti rice noodles before.
You guys are the Best.
Betty Kay Etue.
What a Great employee that could multi-task as he had a full bar but kept everyone enjoying his talents.
Susan the GM went out of her way to bring me a special tea that they serve at the restaurant.
Clean, fresh, delicious! Grabbing Basil “to-go” makes a long day feel a lot better!
Food was fantastic! Sue and Susan were so friendly and welcoming, they made this Flint,MI boy feel like family! I'll definitely be back!
Customer Service.
If you are a person of color, I strongly encourage you to spend your money elsewhere. 1. When I came in thwr door, the male store manager looked me up and down, did not say hello and walked off. 2. The Hostess walked past at least 10 possible seating options to seat me at a table with a direct view into the nasty kitchen. 3. There were NO people of color employed there. No even in the nasty kitchen. 4. The server seemed bored or not interested in being polite. After mulling over these 4 experiences within 1 minute of entering the establishment, I decided to leave. My advice to anyone out there is to not even go there. Ugh.
I was fortunate enough to find
In Columbia for the day and heard about Basil Thai in the Charleston area, so we gave it a go.
I wish I could review the menu choices but the Pad Thai is so good that I order the same entree every time even though Aaron kindly explains the other choices.
Thai Spice in West Ashley blows this place out of the water. One of the least tasty Thai places I've eaten at.
Oh, having River Rat Amber isn't hurting them either ❤️
after a positive review in my local paper.
He also recommended a fine wine for dinner after asking me a couple questions and his choice of Malbac’s was Perfect.

Lemon Drop Martini, I figured it was evident that I try Aaron’s confident manner in ordering this drink.
