Never again. Waited for ever. They brought the wrong side. Took my salad back to bring my fries
On the second occassion, the experience was similar, the customer service, terrible. When we got home, we checked our order and there were missing items. We called the restaurant, and was told that the order was to be checked before we left the store. My husband explained that the cashier did not open the containers and confirm the order was correct and the person that answered the called became very aruguementative with him and the basic resolution that was given was to come back immediately and get the item that was missing or there was nothing else that would be done. Again, the on top of the customer service being terrible, the order was incomplete and we were blamed for the incompetence of the staff.
Slow and rude after waiting 30 minutes to be served was told I couldn’t change my order when I got to the window even tho a 2 piece fish is more than the 3 piece I wanted to change for
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE.. THE EMPLOYEES ARE YOUNG AND VERY RUDE..ONE CASHIER WAS TALKING ABOUT HERE MANAGERS TO OTHER EMPLOYEES VERY LOUDLY IN THE DINING AREA WHERE CUSTOMERS WHERE EATING AND AT THE CASH REGISTER..THE SAME GIRLS SLIDE HER PHONE ON THE COUNTER TO ANOTHER PERSON IN FRONT OF A CUSTOMER WHILE HE WAS WAITING FOR HIS FOOD.. THEY RAN OUT OF SHRIMP WHEN I WAS THERE. THE WAIT WAS VERY LONG..MY FOOD WAS COLD AND NASTY. MYSELF AND OTHER CUSTOMER SAID WE WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS STORE IF I CAN EVER HELP IT AND I USED TO LOVE CAPTAIN D'S BEFORE THIS.. AND YES I AM YELLING BECAUSE THAT'S HOW BAD IT WAS HERE.. IF THERE WAS A WAY TO GIVE THIS STORE NEGATIVE STARS I WOULD......
Although I'm not usually a fan of fast food fish, Captain D's has always been fresh tasting and the most flavorful. It's where I go when I don't feel like cooking my own. I now have others enjoying Captain D's.
My family and I have visited this location 2 times in the past couple of months and on all of those occasions the service was terrible and our order was incorrect. On the first occasion, we understand when the establishment is busy there may be a wait time, but our wait time of 45 minutes was due to the our order being overlooked by the staff preparing the orders. When asked to speak to the manager, the manager was in back preparing orders and spoke to us through the window and did not come to the front counter. When the order was given to us, there were several items missing and to get correct, we waited another 20 minutes. We left the store after the order was correct and at no time, was there any apology for the poor service, the incorrect order and the long wait time. To note, there was a lot of horseplaying by the employees in the front counter, there were people that came from the back to get drinks and stood around talking all while customers were waiting extremely long wait times for their order.
There was a time that Captain D's restaurant was a great family restaurant where you could get great food and great service, but I see now that is not the case. I am sending this email with the hopes of the unprofessional, incompetent service can be addressed so customers will again visit Captain D's. I do not plan to patronize this establish in the future but hope someone would restore the company's name.
