Very excited that The Grand is open! Main st and Cola needed a restaurant that offered more than just food! Space is huge! Bowling lanes in the back-get there early! Full array of games to enjoy and a great lounging area way back as well! Full menu; items we ordered were well executed, nothing too fancy and had good flavor. Had amazing service, which is rare during opening months. A few kinks to still work out but I see The Grand as a place to be any day of the week! Only complaint is the lack of atmosphere; way TOO BRIGHT throughout the front dining room and back lounge and if you sit towards the lanes you can’t hear any music or conversation-nothing to buffer the sound. Turn the lights down: increase the music volume please! A must go to with family and friends!
Fantastic "Grand" Grand opening last night. Had the Alley Burger with a side of Carolina Slaw. Amazing how Chef Ellis and his team can pack so much flavor into one sandwich. Love the atmosphere and the brilliant new vibe this place brings to Main Street.
Let me start off by saying that the atmosphere was very nice! And our waitress Brittney was very sweet and attentive. On another note, every plate that was sat on our table, the food on it was COLD. We had to send back pretty much everything. I ordered the Frogsmore stew and that was DISGUSTING. The shrimp was over cooked, the crab legs lacked flavor and it basically tasted like water. The only way we will be returning is to bowl, other than that don’t expect a delicious meal. Looks can be deceiving.
Great spot for a fun, classy night out. Bowling alley, group games area, intimate table settings for small groups, and they are building a patio. Menu options could be greater, but all the food I tasted was very good.
Awesome bar that happens to also have a bowling alley and a basement that allows you to pour your own draft beer while playing arcade games. Cool atmosphere. There's nothing like it in Columbia.
