The fish in the case was old, dry, meager selection, and the whole place looked like a setting from Mad Max.
We left before ordering so as to avoid food poisoning. DON'T BOTHER.
Trendy and nice atmosphere but definitely not good for sushi. Sashimi resembled hamburger meat. As if the chef cut the fish with a butter knife. The rice on the dragon rolls was due to be trashed last week. Nice place to grab a drink but avoid the hopes of anything that resembles sushi.
Arrived early Saturday night. Sat at so called sushi bar. Sushi "cook" inattentive and indifferent. Politely tried to engage by asking what was good any specials did he have his own specialty roll. Twice. Third time he rudely told me the server would inform us of the specials. The "server" came over with more facial piercings than a cheap Sears and Roebucks pin cushion. The most disturbing was the noise ring through her septum dangling out like a huge metal booger. Disgusting and a DHEC violation.
Great Sushi, great pricing and great drinks. On par, if not better then, Tsunami. Has a more intimate atmosphere and size then tsunami, and not as over the top with presentation and over-all aesthetic.
Ever since these guys opened I’ve been one of their most loyal customers. Their Sushi is always fresh and tasty. It’s not easy to get a good Sushi place. I’ll definitely recommend them to everyone I know.
Fun little restaraunt food was just okay for the price. Our waitress was a bit loud and obnoxious. Hopefully service will be better next time.
