Terrible,terrible,terrible- worse decision ever made. The price is too much for living conditions. The units are small cubes with; mold, roaches, bedbugs, bugs, along nasty management. These people will lie to cover their tales and only care about the money. I had to leave one unit due to black mold and me coughing up blood only to go to another that has bedbugs. They lied and said that someone came to inspect the place without informing us and said that we do not have bed bugs. Months later more bedbugs came out. THIS IS THE WORSE PLACE A COLLEGE STUDENT COULD GO, ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS THE MONEY. ON PAPER AND ONLINE IT LOOKS ALL NICE AND LOVELY BUT IN REALITY RIVERSIDE APARTMENT IS TRASH. They do not fix things, they only paint over and cover up damages to fool you. Please find somewhere else that is worth your time and money. This place does nothing but stress people out.
This place is terrible!! I have lived here for a year too long. Toward the end of my stay the light fell out of the ceiling and they wouldn't come fix it. I put in over 8 work orders but somehow only 1 of those "made it in the system" and it never was fixed!! I was told that if I used this light it would be a fire hazard and so I went 3 weeks without a light and I made calls daily and they blew me off every time I called. It wasn't until I pitched a fit that they even put the work order in the system ( still never fixed my light though). When I called management they were rude. It wasn't until they found out my roommates mother was an attorney that they agreed to meet me to walk through my apt. They are very shady and I wouldn't recommend them to my enemy.Nobody should have to live with these people. They are Slumlords for sure!
whoever is considering moving to riverside apartments in columbia i strongly urge you to reconsider. the living conditions are poor at best with no rules being enforced whatsoever. there is mold that grows on the ceilings unprovoked, and the cabinets are literally sagging off the walls. there are cracks throughout the unit and the refrigerators do not work, especially the freezer part. the pool was closed until the beginning of july and rules were not regulated. finally, when they try to TRANSFER A SIGNATURE FROM ANOTHER DOCUMENT TO RENEW AN OLD LEASE YOU HAVE, that's very unprofessional and illegal as well. never in my life have a ever dealt with more poor management.

The location is great and that literally is the only thing good about Riverside. When moving in nothing was clean there was still hair from the tenant before us in our bathrooms. There was paint everywhere from them re-painting over the summer. We have severe mold from a leak that they never came to fix and blamed on us and said it was dust. Dust isn't black and doesn't join up in circles. The toilets clog probably once a week. The internet doesn't work so you can't watch any videos. All of our appliances do not work and every time we put in a work order they are idiots and blame it on us. Our dryer takes 3 times to dry our clothes and he blames it on us not cleaning out the lent filter. We all clean out the lent filter every time we use it, come on, we've been doing laundry since we were 14 we know how to clean out a lent filter. The whole front office staff is incompetent. The big girl in the office...you should not wear half the things you do! Lets keep it professional. They cannot do anything to help you so I don't even know why they work here. When we finally complained about our mold because we were all getting sick the big girl in the office came in and said "there is nothing wrong with this F***ing apartment, they are just F***ing dirty." AND the whole maintenance staff is also incompetent they cant do anything either and all the males are creepy. The only people that do stuff here are the maintenance woman and the shuttle driver. They are awesome! DO NOT LIVE HERE!!! you will regret it! I swear and be embarrassed you live in such a nasty place when people come over/to visit.
Do not live here unless you like bugs, unworking toilets, terrible staff, gang activity, and bad internet. The Positive reviews on google are posted by the employees. nothing positive can be said of this place.
