However, if you don't care about that, but do care about a good, clean place with staff who will go way out of their way to be helpful, this is a very good option. Personally, I loved it.
I came here knowing it was an economy b hotel. To me it was better than economy. We had a king bed ,fridge and microwave. It was very quiet. They serve continental breakfast but we did not get up for it.
First off, the guy at the counter was sleeping when I got there. Had to ring the bell 3 times to get him to come out. Then, the room smelled aweful when I got in. I found mold on the shower curtains, the toilet was broken, I was scared to turn the heat on, (luckily It didn't catch fire) the unit was nasty!!!! Found the smoke detector with a plastic bag over it, tied with rubber bands. Sheets had cigarette burns in it. I am usually one who understands cheap hotels and what you pay for.. but when the safety is LITERALLY taken away from it all (mold, covered smoke detectors and dirty air units) is in play... $60 is not worth my life... js... have pictures, but won't let me share! AVOID at all cost if possible, but if you need to stay there, shower before you travel, check for bed bugs (luckily did not see them, but sc does have a problemo right now, so dbl check) and make sure you are not sleeping in a room with MOLD. Cheap is good, when you do not have the funds, but safety for your life is IMPORTANT!!!
There are those who will freak out because the porcelain in the sink is chipped, there are paint spray marks on the door, etc. If you are one of those people, forget this place.
Cheap and clean enough. Nice family lives on site and runs the hotel. ample dining closeby. If you want a 'fine' upscale hotel, this isn't it. but it's fine for the price. nice flat screen with many many channels. despite being adjacent to multifamily housing, the place was quiet. the continental breakfast is sparse, but there's a great breakfast restaurant next door.
This is not a place you would depend your breakfast source from. No juice. Only coffee and a pot of milk. Bread slices and corn flakes. Bed was comfy. Bath tub flooring has no slip protection padding. Toilet paper was gone by evening.
