Very disappointing!! I stayed there because I was attending a conference at a local University. I had to ask the front desk for lotion because the bathroom did not have them. That was not the bad part.
Staff was awesome I was on crutches at the time of our stay and they were extremely nice and outgoing. Rooms were excellent. The issue is address says Gervais St. but you actually have to go around the block and pull into the back parking lot to get into the Hyatt. So make sure you are paying attention to where you are going I drove by it 3 times before I realized where it was and then had to ask how to get in since I was on crutches and of course there wasn't any parking out front on Gervais St. Google change it please!!! The staff has contacted you about this issue so I am not upset with the hotel on poor directions I am upset with "Google"maps who hasn't changed it....I am overall extremely satisfied with my stay they have a 12:00 check out too that's awesome. Breakfast was great
I had no car but they charged me for parking. They charged me for 3 days parking and refunded only 2 days when I pointed it out. The bill I was given at checkout was not the final amount they took from my card. Even after I called to ask about it, they still sent me a final bill without reimbursing me for the third night. I've stayed at Hyatt hotels before and this was a bad experience.
The front desk staff was amazing!!! I stayed here for 2 weeks while at a course. Ann, Sarah and Monica made me feel right at home!!!! Good breakfast, spacious and clean rooms. Only issue is that it's in a busy area of downtown so the cars driving by and the loud people leaving the bars could be annoying at night. Everyone there is truly exceptional though. Even the cleaning lady got a glass and put my toothbrush and toothpaste in it since I left it out on the counter. The staff made being away from home for so long more bearable. Thanks guys!!!
This hotel is clean, friendly and happy to help with whatever their guests needs are. I was staying there during the time of hurricane Irma. They allowed pets for people evacuating from Florida. The desk and bar services were friendly and accommodating. This stay was a very tough due to Irma and they stepped up. I can't give them a better review. Five stars doesn't begin to describe my stay there.
So my first night was a bit restless due to the motorcycles and loud exhaust systems on various vehicles cruising the strip on Friday night. I was tired and didn't want to take it up with the front desk, but it was certainly annoying. The hotel has a good breakfast with eggs, sausage links, and pancakes of a higher quality than this tier hotel normally has. Staff was friendly and helpful. And the room was clean and somewhat modern. I had a good stay, but I think the hotel probably needs to work more closely with the police department so that noise ordinances are enforced. I did notice that the police have an online form, but it should be obvious to those on patrol that a quick word or fine would solve the problem. Overall, good stay and a solid hotel.
