They said on the phone that they were going to give us a key for the $50,000 giveaway and they never gave us the key... actually because we asked them if they could give us some figures in black and white to how they make it so cheap and how it will save us money they basically threw us out the door.
This location has closed their doors for good as of today. So disappointed, I loved shopping in the club.
Ok, so the idea is a great one to buy everything for your home at dealers price. However, they tell you that once you get into their store, and see the showcase, it is your only chance to be a part of their "little cult." So, my girlfriend and I, after all the ooos and ahhhs, we still told them no thanks. Here is the kicker, and I kick myself for being a sucker.....They went with the whole, "OMG! so young and so much to be able to do to their house! But they are walking away! oh no! dont do it!" Well, we got suckered, and bought into their stupid bullshit. We signed up and made our first payment almost two months after the signing date. Now, 2 months was generous, of course. But now we have not made one payment towards our account, have not bought one thing from them, have not used the Free stuff they gave us, and asked about possibly canceling our account and/or freezing it, until we can get on track with finances. The owner or manager of this store was a FLIPPING JERK! He would not budge from this contract and did not want to even come close to meeting me half way on the problem. Their customer service is crappy (not the words I would chose), and they are a shady group. Now there is some lawsuit against Direct Buy stating that they are selling their stuff at illegal prices!! So they are offering 2 free months?!?!?! How about letting me out of the shady business you are running?!?! Dont go through Direct Buy ever!!! Worst decision in a long long time!
Illegal calling practices. They refuse to release any information as to the responsible party placing the calls. Bad business when they were informed the call was being recorded the phone went silent.
