We arrives after 14 hrs on the road. Checked in and went right to the room. I spilled water in the bathroom wiped it up with a towel and there was long black hair and dirt all over the towel. In the morning I went to take a shower I went to pull a towel down and the "hairy" towels folded above the sink were waiting for me. Next to the first bed the floor looked as if it had never been vacuumed. 5he chair had some debris and I don't know what else. For 130.00 I should received some compensation.. This is crazy. I went to the front desk showed them the pictures and was told house keeping will be cleaning at 9.I requested they thoroughly mop and sweep the bathroom floor. I also requested the vacuum the room thoroughly as well.. Never stay here before not a great way to start my stay.
Room was good/spacious although my daughter felt the bedding had a lot of stains. While I am sure they were laundered, it seems that they should get rid of bedding with large stains that did not come out. Shower was very good, towels were plentiful and soft. Although the bathroom was smallish and you could not close the door with the bath mat on the floor as the door kept catching on it. There was a switch for the bathroom fan but it did not seem to be working. Gym was very small (not a lot of equipment and no free weights) and I had to wait to use the equipment this morning until the people who got there earlier finished. The breakfast was better than most other free breakfasts. However, my daughter made waffles and tried both waffle makers and it did not appear as if they has been cleaned very well as each waffle came out with stuff on them that looked like grease or old charred waffles. Only 1 elevator seemed to be working each time we needed to use it. Staff was friendly and the lobby was clean and updated.
Excellent hotel, great location. Staff very friendly and helpful. Tatiana at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Many places to eat close by. The Lizard Thicket restaurant across the street was really amazing. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. I really liked how it is just across the street and we could simply walk to the restaurant. We booked 2 rooms on our way to Disney and we booked again 2 rooms on our way back from Disney. This hotel is definitely Best Western standard. I will stay here every time I am in the area. It has a nice pool also. Very conveniently located right off the highway. A number of restaurants right next to the hotel, you could just walk to them.
I completely enjoyed my stay....the room was spacious and very clean. The bathroom was rather small but spotless. Check-in was quick and the staff friendly and answered all and any questions I had. No complaints from me.
I am a very particular person and I have absolutely no complaints. The staff is friendly, hotel is clean, breakfast is great, and I do recommend a high numbered floor if you enjoy beautiful views of the skyline. The location is awesome as it is near the highway just minutes from Ft Jackson which was my reason for being in the area, shopping, gas, and food. Also the price will not break the bank. Book and enjoy
