I have a 1985 Chevy C-10 custom I took to Norton's to get my alarm installed. When I got in my truck and turned on the lights, my dash lights out, fuel gauge not working, bright lights reversed, no windshield wipers, ooh and when the lights are off, dash lights come on. Now, when Norton's received my truck I had none of these problems. The manager made more excuses than trying to take care of the customer and find a solution. I was told bring my truck by on Monday so he could have a certified mechanic take a look to assure me Norton's didn't cause the problem. So I'll be there bright and early Monday. I'll update my rating if they resolve this issue they have cause!!!!!!
Update - I called Broad River Norton Stereo and the Manager confirmed that my name and service is in their records. I was told that some radios are not visible during the day and that they are aware of this problem with PIONEER car radios in some vehicles. This was never explained to me. The radio installation was $500, A lot to pay for a radio display that cannot be seen during the daylight hours. Poor Service and Poor product.
The car was not ready when promised even though I arrived when it first opened. Car was ready at closing so that I could not ask many questions. Poor product with low visibility. Cannot see the display in any light. Very expensive.
Great sales person. Installer was great fast.
