I took my car to Midas in 07/2014 because it had a smell of burnt oil. The car was riding perfectly fine; it just had a smell. I was told that oil gaskets were bad and it leaked oil into the alternator so both needed to be replaced. When I picked up my car and turned onto the street my car was jerking and stalling like it was going to cut off in the middle of the street. I went back and they said there was nothing wrong with the car and to just drive it and see if it gets better. Of course it did not improve. The check engine light started blinking. I took it back two more times and finally they fixed it, even though they said they didn’t know what was going on with it and that they didn’t do anything to make it act like that. They just told me sometimes fixing one problem can cause another. So I did not take my car back because I had no confidence in the job that was done. Now, not quite two years later. I have to replace another alternator because oil gaskets caused oil to leak into it. I called Midas and they said that if it would have been within a year they would have fixed it but since I haven’t brought my car back in almost two years it was nothing they could do. Obviously the repair wasn’t done correctly the first time. I would advise anyone to stay away from this shop.
A +
Jordan , Ken, and mgr. were all professional , knowledgeable, explain what's up with your car ! Customer was service exceptional. I don't review unless I'm blown away good or bad. I recommend this shop.
Wow..
First time I came to the shop with a minor problem, and they was extremely busy. A male by the name of Rick greeted me with and made me feel comfortable. He had someone fix the minor problem and I told him I will
Jason and Avalon were extremely helpful. They got me in and out quickly while providing great service!
This place is the most honest facility I have ever been to. I have always taken my car to Midas to know what I have to fix and what can wait. They keep my car running well and I am never on the side of the road. I am not sure what these people below are talking about. This repair facility is the best option in town. Saying otherwise just proves to be irrational and ignorant. For those out there like this - wake up and put a smile in your face instead of vilifying everyone that comes in your path!!
come back for another service. I did come back and was greeted by Josh who really had excellent customer service skills. This was my second time to the shop and the customer service from the two was excellent. The wait was long but Josh told me how long it was going to take , so overall a good experience.
