They're lazy and don't work I asked for something as simple as a oil change and they said not enough time but when I asked about getting tires put on they had nothing but time!
The staff was knowledgeable but the prices could be better.
In the end, you are really selling relations - not tires. People may not come back, but their recommendations to friend and family will impact the store for good or ill.
Saturday I had a bolt in my tire. I went to the Firestone store where I bought my tires. They were quite rude and said they couldn't get to it until Sunday. I drove to Goodyear on Clemson Road and they were SO NICE!!! They patched my tire and put the tire on my car. They didn't even charge me!!! The next set of tires I buy are definitely going to be from this store. They are AWESOME!!!!
Also, looking on the ground and walking away to do something while people are attempting communicate with you quickly build frustration...especially when a customer is attempting to do so with greater care than you are exhibiting.
The store manager doesn't seem to enjoy his job much. In a customer service role, it is important to listen to your customers...really listen. If you repeatedly cut in with comments which disregard their questions or concerns, you'll likely find yourself having a lot of frustrated patrons...and these same issues will impact how your employees feel around you, at work and in the way they learn to mimic what you demonstrate as acceptable relations amongst patrons, you and other employees.
I took my Jeep in to this location and let them know I have an exhaust leak but wasn't sure where it was. The guy took it back and put it on a lift. I was watching the whole time while they were jerking and pulling on everything underneath. After 15 minutes of 2 guys looking and jerking on everything 1 guy comes back to tell me that my whole system needs replaced. I informed him that I just had it replaced. He said it was going to cost me about $450.00. I said No Way! He said that my muffler was blown out and that a flange was cut off and welded to pipe and all kind of other carp. I grew up around card so I'm not a totally stupid female. He told me that a new bracket that I had put on caused all the damage. Lol.. he has no idea what he's talking about!! Then charged me $30 for looking at it!! Rip off!! I took it to another service place and told them what he said and what the charged me, he laughed! He told the other guys that were there and the laughed. He said all it needed was welded where it came loose. Didn't even charge me because of goodyear charging $30 just to look at it. The only reason I went there to start with was because they were close to my house and I'm new to town and don't really know a lot of places here. I went in today after getting fixed by another place to talk to manager. Young man up front pointed in the office and said he's in his office. Door was open and he heard me talking but wouldn't come out to take care of the situation. Coward!!! Finally he came out and wouldn't even make eye contact and continued to walk to computer without saying a word. Finally after a few minutes he looked over at me and all he said was " we don't weld". Seriously! That's how you take care of problems! I walked out because I have no patients for poor management!!! Oh! Let's not for get that the first time I went in to get my Jeep checked. I told the guy that I called a couple places in town and they were booked up for a couple weeks. He said he wished they had that problem. They have been slow. Well!!!, there's your sign! Bad business, no business!! !! You only got 1 star because it wouldn't let me post without putting at least 1.
