My car battery died and I had to get it replaced. It was going to cost roughly $400 which seemed a bit high so I decided to take it else where. I was told I was going to have to pay an $80 diagnostic fee, which I understand. When I arrived, one of the gentlemen waived the diagnostic fee which was was super awesome! Wish I could have given them my business, but changing a car battery for $400 did not seem worth the money.
This is my first time doing an online review but I wanted everyone to know what occurred during my visit. I was excited to try this place, such good reviews and prices seemed top notch. I made my appointment three days in advance because I was told they had nothing for that day and I would be in and out. I dropped the car off at 9 am. By 3pm I hadn't heard anything so I called. I was told they hadn't even got to my car yet and that they were out to lunch but would get back and then do it. So much for in and out. Besides that, I was quoted an 'out the door' price only to find out later that additional fees totaling more than 40 dollars boosted my total. The manager I spoke with explained that these additional fees came from supplies used throughout the day for all customers that are then divided up among customers. I explained that I was told an out the door price that was much cheaper. He wouldn't let me talk and wanted to yell in front of my two year old daughter. I had no one to listen to me and had no choice but to pay and leave. I signed my receipt but wrote a statement at the bottom of it that I did not agree and that was not the price I was quoted. They have this on file. Not wanting any confrontation, I called back and calmly asked to speak with the manager , Keith, but the desk manager (same guy) would not give me his contact info or time of availability. Instead, he said ' I don't know what you want to hear from him'. I asked twice. I will be contacting the better business bureau for investigation on my behalf to see if I have a case and probably will return to the dealership like I have always been. It sucks that you want to support local businesses to see this city prosper only to be treated like dirt.
