I would definitely use them if I move again. I moved from SC to IL and they were friendly, very good at answering my questions (I asked a lot!) and they were patient. Everything was easy and very convenient. The only thing I guess maybe it was a misunderstanding is that I got a smaller cube than I thought I would get so I had to strategically fit everything and also I had to get rid of a lot of stuff that could not fit in the cube (and yes I gave a list of everything I had planned to ship). Since I was in a rush and in a time schedule I couldn't send it back or request a bigger cube or a second cube, but besides that, everything went pretty well. I am happy with their service.
U-Pack ABF moving company was a very good experience for our move from South Carolina all the way to the coast of Oregon. We are very pleased with the customer service--they delivered on all they promised and we were able to track our move online the entire way. The only suggestion we had for U-Pack was to provide a safer ramp for us on our unloading end--an older ramp was provided and we felt it was unsafe. In addition, the ramp was wedged between the walls at the very end of the trailer and might have caused serious injury or death had we not used ropes & pulleys to get it unstuck in a safe manner. U-Pack offered us compensation for the extra time it created for us to unload, and we are pleased they cared and appreciated our situation and our feedback. We give them 5 stars!
Horrible horrible company. We booked an arbitrary date online two months in advance. When we called to confirm the booking, we were told we need to move the date to one weekend earlier to make our target delivery date and it would cost $450 to do that and we reluctantly agreed. The day before the company was supposed to show up, we double checked the targeted delivery date and it showed an eleven day window. We again called customer service and told them again when we needed our items delivered, they requested another $350 to "guarantee" the range of dates. All in all pure extortion. We cancelled as the price was up to $4000 at that point with no loading assistance to go from SC to AZ. Be careful with this company and have a back up plan as we have been left in a compromised position.
Very nice and super helpful staff. Explained everything to me and gave helpful tips. Made me feel like I was placing my belongings in safe hands for its cross country trip
