This service company told me on the phone a flat rate to move me 5 miles... they arrived on time came into the apartment and told me it's going to be more because of the amount of stuff I had I did not have a ridiculous amount of items in boxes to be moved but he said it was going to be $275 more than the flat rate he told me on the phone... this was the owner that did this to me... He was unprofessional and said that he could just cancel the move right now if I didn't want to pay the extra money... he knew I was in a situation where I either had to pay it or I wasn't going to be able to move out of my apartment before my lease was up... I told him he needed to give quotes and go to the people's houses and check before hand and not tell somebody one thing and then do another I found it to be absolutely ridiculous... my advice to you is do not use this moving company unless you want to end up paying more than what he tells you on the phone... he was absolutely insulting and I feel he took complete advantage of the situation and was trying to hustle me...
