Great atmosphere but unfortunately I saw four well-fed cockroaches and didn't stay long enough to get my food. The manager didn't seem to care and acted like it was normal in the south. I've lived 9 years in Florida and we have plenty cockroaches but I have never seen so many in one restaurant. If it doesn't bother you, please come here because the atmosphere is excellent and I'm sure the food is just as good.
Good southern/French menu. Funky atmosphere. But LOUD. The unforgiving acoustics are due to tall painted brick walls (with interesting artwork.) Nice place for a gathering of friends or coworkers, but I would NOT recommend this for a date night. Unless you like yelling across the table. Waitstaff was knowledgeable and attentive. A cool place for something a little different. Pricey. Average dinner is $22, beer $8 a bottle.

Definitely get the fried green tomatoes and pimento cheese appetizer. Come here about once a month when I'm in town and I'm never disappointed. There's lots of menu items and specials that change often. Pricing is reasonable and service has always been good.
No better place for a late lunch...especially on a day off. A guy was dropping off seafood, just caught and cleaned from the coast. Incredible Southern cuisine! Great service, wine selection and deals.
