You never know what flavor coffee you'll get. Sometimes you'll get honey instead of butter. The food is good, but the owners are never there and the staff slacks off badly.
Best bagels in town. I usually get an everything bagel toasted with a sausage patty and cheddar cheese. If you get just cream cheese they lay it on THICK most of the time, but it's easy to scrape off. Good lunch options too. Prices for breakfast are great. They can get pretty busy so I always call my order in and it's usually ready by the time I get there. Mostly metered street parking.
My name is Fredrick Diamond and I normally visit The Carolina Cafe on most mornings where I order a sausage egg and cheese on croissant. On Monday November 13, 2017 I visited the Cafe and ordered the usual. After placing my order I stood away from the counter observing the activity going on behind the counter. I observed a young man preparing orders and running his fingers through his hair on several occasions and began praying that he wasn't preparing my order. He then called my name and I was reluctant to pick up my order. Didn't want to make a scene, I picked up my order and went to work. When I got there I couldn't eat it for thinking about what I had just witnessed. So, I laid the bag on my desk and observed a long strand of light brown hair hanging out of the bag.Needles to say,theyi lost my money and they lost a customer
I normally LOVE Carolina cafe's sandwiches and breakfast. but today I got chef salad which came pre prepared in a box. Most of the lettuce was BROWN. I will never order a salad from then again. Not fresh at all. And the cashier lied to me about running out of ranch. I asked another employee and they gave me ranch.
I ordered cafe mocha and its not good at all, my $5 is wasted!!
