Very nice park to take some relaxing walks. The walk along the canal is beautiful. Good place to spend a few hours.
Love this park. It's great for walking, jogging, running, biking, skating etc. It's all done at this park, there is plenty of room to do whatever type of activity you enjoying doing. There are areas for picnicking and resting. Some trails that you can walk down which are very nice, quaint and peaceful. I also enjoy the historical aspects of this location. Nice family friendly park. They also have a type of outdoor gym equipment for public use.
Such a wonderful park! I'm disabled and the fact that they have plenty of benches to rest on is great. It's family friendly and pet friendly. They also have an outdoor gym that seems cool. The park is clean and well maintained, with a great park rangers.
Great place to go kayaking. This past summer I went kayaking down this river several times. It’s a nice ride and there are many place to get out or go in.
We really enjoy walking here. The views over the river are pretty enough to go here on a date, and the paved path is kid friendly enough to take the family for a little exercise. Dogs are welcome, and there are a few grassy areas for picnics. It does get a little crowded on nice evenings, particularly closer to the downtown entrance.
