I put my clothes in the Cleaners for the first time n last time. I got my New Levis back and it was faded out and it shouldnt have look like that. I talk with the owner and he said there is nothing he could do bout it. So now i got a pants thats faded out and look like Crap. You need to think twice before goin to this place. VERY POOR WORK AND THEY DONT BACK IT UP....
While they do clean clothes fast, I would not recommend this place at all. I recently dropped of and picked up a large load of clothes (dresses, blazors, etc.) and as I pull the dresses out of the closet, I can't get the barcode sticker off the dresses, on one dress, they ruined the hem (it was a simple sheath dress and the bottom hem is completely undone) and they ruined a kate spade dress seam that was for a built in belt. Of course they did not alert me to these issues and did not mention the barcodes so I have just found them piece by piece. Save your money and go someplace out.
The folks at Ed Robinson are kind and courteous. I have never had a bad experience.
I appreciate their pick-up / drop off service. Very cordial, helpful delivery staff. The bulk of the cleaning they do for me is dress shirts, the pay careful attention to details such as collar stays, french cuffs, etc. I've been using them exclusively for over a year with no problems.
Three years ago our house burned. This group was contacted to clean our clothes of the smoke oder and this included shoes, hats, purses, bed linens drapes and curtains anything fabric/leather. When our belongings were returned they had ruined two pairs of boots, 5 purses, 4 or 5 pairs of shoes....one of which fell apart as I was wearing them at work..2 or 3 hats, numerous shirts and sweaters since they don't pay attention to the fact that reds will run onto other colors particularly white. Then they totally ruined a suede cloth midi-length coat that i had made and hand tailored the lining and braid. They returned it wadded up in a ball stuffed in a plastic bag and it is stiff. When I cleaned that coat I washed it in the bathtub with mild laundry soap and hanged it up to dry on a coathanger. I am so mad with this company that I will NEVER, EVER, recommend them to anyone and will tell friends to not ever contract with them for any reason. Obviously they are so stupid they don't know how to read the labels on the bottles of chemicals they use to clean fabrics and they claim to be the Textile Experts. They apparently don't bother to read the care labels on clothing items either. I had to rewash every t-shirt they cleaned because they felt so nasty I would not wear them. I'm not 100% sure all of our belongings were returned. When the clothes were delivered, the employee put too many hangers in the closet on the rack and it was too heavy a load so before too long the rack had pulled out of the wall and dumped clothes in the floor and left several holes in the wall. We had to get the contractor to patch the holes, repaint the wall and then pay for this additional expense. They obviously could care less about the emotional trauma we had experienced with the fire and the house had to be gutted and rebuilt. These people only added to the frustration of not being able to live in our home.
