This was my first time at this establishment and I must admit that the food was very delicious. I ordered the Rib Eye Steak---it was perfectly cooked and tasty. The atmosphere and the customer service was AWESOME. I will be returning. The salad was delicious as well and it didn't take a long time to get my food.
Burgers were good. Beer wasn't quite cold enough. Waitress was very nice but service was a little slow
Unfortunately we didn't even get to try Liberty Tap Room in Columbia (love the one in Charleston). My husband and I were walking down the street trying to find a lunch place for about 16 of us. When we passed by Liberty at first a lovely young lady chatted with us and said they were wide open. We talked with our friends and went back to make a reservation. At this time, another young lady greeted us and when we asked for a reservation for 16 she said they don't take reservations on the weekends. But she kindly offered to ask the manager. Ok so far.
She came back in less than a minute and said the manager said no. S/he did not come out to talk to us. Flat no. If Liberty in Columbia does their business like that we take our business elsewhere. Liberty just lost a large amount of money. Worst, their reputation is tarnished in our eyes.
Liberty is definitely one of the top spots in Columbia to get a straightforward awesome meal, and you're going to notice they have some of the best service in town. Our server Jenna was absolutely phenomenal! Get the New York strip and the wings when you go there!
Road trip had one night in Columbia SC. We wandered over to Liberty Tap Room and Grille from Aloft Hotel. Amazing beer selection! JT behind the bar helped me pick out some local SC beers and gave me tastes of those I might like. So friendly and hospitable! He suggested the Duck BLT, newish item on the menu. It was simply amazing! Highly recommend! Also had the sirloin steak salad. Hubby and I were very pleased. Would definitely revisit if ever back this way.
