They had some pretty good red velvet cake for a fact. 1st time I ever been to that place
I had the WORST EXPERIENCE with them during the most joy-able moment of my life. I went to them for my baby shower cake and specifically asked before placing my order if they design fondant cakes. I was given a price ($150) and like anyone else, I began to shop around with other local bakeries to see which would best fit my budget. Well after finding out most of the bakeries were charging $150 and up for fondant cake, I went back to Sweet Temptations to place my order with them after hearing how delicious their cakes were.
Hands down the best I've tasted thus far. Read the bad reviews and honestly those people don't seem like they know what they want when it comes to ordering cakes it's best to go in. Secondly the box cakes in the store aren't great velvet cakes bc they use too much cocoa powder but again I'm sure most people know that velvet cake isn't supposed to taste anything like chocolate. I don't trust those reviews bc if they could do it themselves they would have. You get what you pay for. If you want an expensive cake you gotta pay the price.
The desserts are amazing! Moist cake and open on Mondays. Nice staff
When I went back to place the order, I sent out a picture of the cake design I wanted via email and provided my colors and other request I wanted done to the cake. After signing the contract, I was told a different price from before ($160), ok $10 difference wasn't a biggie.
This bakery doesn’t know anything about customer service! They do not greet you upon entry! Also doesn’t provide an assortment of items for purchase! If you inquire as to when they’ll have brownies or cookies they NEVER KNOW! When it came to check out my items the lady just had me standing there a good 5 minutes while she sat in the chair! Until I finally spoke up! This bakery isn’t a bakery at all! It’s a joke! I won’t be back
The pick up day came and I was extremely excited to see my cake. When I arrived, I was presented a cake that was made with regular icing as appose to the fondant icing I requested. The manager and employee made it as if I didn't know what I wanted when I placed the order and that they were not told it was to be made out of fondant, and stated that a fondant cake would have been close to $200. Now, the cake I previously sent to their email address was made out of fondant. I told them when I ordered, I wanted my cake to look exactly like the picture minus the color and stripe pattern that the picture displayed. I was EXTREMELY upset at this point. How does a customer not know what they want? And for it to be a special day for me, of course I would know how I would like everything to be. After a long debate about the cake, I was given back $40. Seriously, $40, after paying for a $160 cake I did not ask for. I will not recommend them to anyone for any special cake orders.
