Would have likely give 5 stars if the interpersonal skills had been better. Either she didn't speak very much English, thought I should have tipped more, or a combination of the two. It is a possibility that I will go back here for a follow-up visit, though that won't be high on my priority list. I will likely try another spa beforehand.
I was looking for a good deep tissue massage, and that is what I found, which is a definite plus.
The room was clean and private. A radio in the room was playing a local 80's music radio station, but it wasn't very loud. The attendant asked me if it was my first time visiting them. The first time she asked, I misunderstood and told her my name because that is what it sounded like at first. The same attendant asked me if it was my first time there 2 more times during the massage. The attendant told me the price was $70 for a 1 hour massage. After I paid, she told me to disrobe and lie face down on the table and exited the room for me to do so. These, and when the massage ended asking if I wanted water, were the only conversations we had between us.
The massage was very well done and I quite enjoyed it. Because she did a good job, I also gave her a $20 tip at the end. The tip was received silently, and she simply motioned towards the exit door.
