I come to this plaza to pay my loan at NYC. They have a few good stores in this plaza. Dunkin Doughnuts and Dollar General and Manifest. I believe there is a police substation here and as well as a nail salon and hair braiding place. One of the older plazas in Columbia.
Just looks very dated...in need of some new stores and new life...
this place is somewhat rundown. it has always been too much parking for not enough (now mostly closed) stores. they recently repaved all of that asphalt, but it's like putting lipstick on a pig. dunkin donuts & manifest are the only places left worth visiting unless you are a teacher, own tropical fish, or enjoy paying way too money for a picture frame compared to Michael's or online. Manifest (I think it's still Manifest Disc & Tapes, but that name makes little sense) is a Columbia staple for at least 30 years for music, but with a change of management and a change of music distribution, it has been reduced to a shell of its former self. dunkin donuts is dunkin donuts; it has a Baskin Robbins in it, but don't expect a cone of chocolate chip ice cream. they still advertise 31 flavors, but they have a limited number of those 31 flavors at any time. I'm afraid that, like Dutch Square Mall (Boozer Shopping Center's newer neighbor) this place is dying. I suppose that some people may consider the auto parts store, Rite Aid, and (especially) Chick-fil-A as part of the shopping center, then it is extremely popular; however, all three locations have their own parking lots and are completely separate from the shopping "center" that has four other stores remaining with room for at least 20+ stores. I'm somewhat sad to say that the area is dying.
The shopping center itself is old and dieing like the mall next to it. It still had a good music store for records and a Dunkin donuts.... A few other stores are there but I haven't really paid any attention to them. The highest amount of traffic probably goes to the Chick-fil-A right outside the plaza.
Its old but has some nice stores. manifest, and B and L tailors are some great businesses.
