Later, a sports orthopaedic physician was able to give the exact diagnosis via the images I took the day in the ED.
Mediocre at best
This is a Regional Trauma Center. The Emergency Department immediately warned me of a 10 hour wait (excessive traumas that day). I couldn't walk well. Going to another facility was out of the question. I was triaged and checked several times while waiting to be seen.
Once I was seen, the proper tests were performed and a pain reliever was given. The diagnosis was narrowed via examination and deduction. Personnel were kind enough to wheel me to my car and help me get in.
