Was beyond excited to find a Shoneys that was open... Hadn't seen one in at least 10 years. Went during lunch with my husband and two children. The iced tea tasted old, the wait staff all seemed miserable and the food on the buffet was HORRIBLE. Everything tasted as if it was just taken out of a can and then microwaved. The gentleman sitting behind us said he had had better food in prison.... Ive never been but I'm guess at how bad the buffet food was... He's probably correct. I see now why these places aren't around anymore
Food on buffet was not fresh. They ran out of fruit, and manager wasn't willing to adjust our bill or offer any substitutions. Soups and salad dressings weren't labeled, so we had to track someone down to ask. We've always liked Shoney's, but this was not a good experience.
Food was just alright. Quality is suffering. Had liver and onions and had to send it back bc it was half cooked. Waitress was pleasant and on point tho. No complaints there. Won't be going bk for awhile tho.
Worst service ive ever had jason was the waiter our table was dirty then he threw a fit when we asked him to wipe it down making smart ass comments every question we had he didnt know and wouldnt go ask when we asked how much the kids menu was he said once again i dont know is it going to rain today like a smart ass as i told him we were leaving he said good luck with life in a very disrespectful manor i will never eat here again
Nice staff. Good southern hospitality. Great light & fluffy pancakes. Sticky tableware. Would come again.
