It's just a matter of time before they are closed down due to noncompliance. They do not ensure the safety of the population they serve, nor do they ensure the safety of their staff. In addition, the medical care delivered to the patients is very poor. They offer no support to staff even during times of crisis. The inmates run the facility. It's an extremely dangerous environment, and assaults on staff happen regularly. They treat their employees horribly, going as far as removing tables, chairs, coffee pots etc from the break rooms on the units. They have signs posted stating that there is to be no eating or drinking of any kind on the units, not even bottled water. The ice machines on the units have been contaminated with e-coli, so that's not even an option to keep you hydrated in an environment that averages about 75 degrees on any given day, sometimes even warmer that that. Admin is uncompassionate, cold, and uncaring with military style management. They need to be reported!
Urinating in public can cause you a year JAIL sentence..$75,000 fine and then a trip to this place ...all the while both facility's collect veterans checks. Great way to show your gratitude to veterans. I do not think people have a mental disability for public urination...S.c. Needs to have facilities for the public to urinate...guess they do not want to use that money they are stealing from law abiding veterans with no previous mental instability. Fraud.
