If you don't have a dentist chooser her. If you do and are not satisfied choose her.
Last week I had that experience again with her. My back left molar cracked, a piece broke off-called a fracture. It was a fairly large piece. It came from a very old filling that I had had as a child. I am 57. Many dentists would have automatically told a patient they needed a crown, which has a hefty co pay,etc for most patients. But she offered a different approach. She basicaly dug out the old filling, then filled /shaped the area of the molar missing w/some material I think called amalgam. But regardless this is her approach. She has done this for me before. The cost-$230. My insurance paid for this. But if one did not have insurance this would be alot cheaper than a crown.
Omg I loveeeee this place been there for the first time last week they all were very professional n nice they even watched my babywhen she wouldn't stop crying while I got my cleaning when they was not busy with any work love this place
I really enjoyed my visit to University Dental. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful the entire time I was there. The office was very easy to find (it's right beside my favorite resturant, Za's) and I did not wait longer than 5 minutes before I was called back. I do not usually like going to the dentist, but Dr. Bethea was great! He really took the time to point out what needed to be corrected, and gave me some advice on how to keep my teeth healthy. The entire time he was explaining it to me, I could follow along with him on a screen that showed my xrays. Overall, it was a great experience and I am definitely less hesitant about going back.
Dr.Felder is a great dentist and very personable to her patients. I have been going to her since 1991. One of the things that I have had the opportunity to appreciate about her is she does not choose the most expensive way to fix a dental problem if she can avoid it.
