There's nothing challenging but kids of all ages seemed to be having a good time. The park closes at 7:00 but the office closes around 3:00.
Cons: You need to get a key to access the only changing room. This is probably why the bathroom was VERY wet.
Pros: Numerous life guards through out, lots of lounge chairs in the sun and shade.
Daughter had great time. No pool areas are deep. I was able to walk beside her in the lazy river while my stepmom floated. It's awesome that civilians have access to this as well. We were able to get perfect chairs underneath an umbrella next to the kids area so my daughter could play without me having to be right in the water with her. Plenty of lifeguards are on duty also.
Looks like an awesome place but is currently closed for the season. I'm willing to wait because I am just enjoying the cooler weather.
It's not a huge park but there's enough variety for a couple of hours to play & rest: A seperate area appropriate for toddlers and timid young kids. Water slides for young kids and older kids/adults. A wading pool and a lazy river of course.
Local water park conveniently located in Ft Jackson. You're required to show ID to get on base. Then they do a background check before you buy a ticket...but the process is very quick.
There is a restaurant and there are reasonable lockers inside restrooms and outside. Nothing was overpriced. Food was mainly 4.00 & up for chicken tenders, pizza, burgers but food was decent quantity & good quality. Nachos, chips, ice cream also were available.
Been coming here with my family for several years now. This is a great place for young kids and family. Even though my boys are older now, they still enjoy it. Lifeguards are always alert and courteous. The staff is friendly and attentive.
This is an extremely small waterpark but nice to have on base. Since it's on base though, I don't like that civilians have access to it. There was a long wait to get in the park, and the locks were super expensive. At least you get part of it back... There are 2 different types of slides, parents are not allowed to ride with small kids, a lazy river, kiddie pool, and splash pad. There's a playground as well.
